Please click on the various policies for more details. Failure to follow the rules may result in loss of badge and removal from the convention. Cosmic Con reserves the right to remove anyone in violation of these rules. No refunds will be given to anyone removed from the convention.
ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY
Colorado Cosmic Con cultivates a safe, secure, and an open, inclusive, respectful environment with zero tolerance for misbehavior.
We do not tolerate violence, mistreatment, or any type of harassment towards staff, exhibitors, guests, or attendees.
If you feel your or someone else’s safety is in question, please report directly to Colorado Cosmic Con staff or security on-site. If you or someone else has been involved in an incident we should be aware of, please report this to Colorado Cosmic Con staff.
WEAPONS & PROPS POLICY
All Colorado Cosmic Con attendees, exhibitors and staff must comply with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations regarding weapons, imitation weapons and props, as well as their usage.
Under no circumstances are attendees allowed to bring to the convention grounds any actual weapons.
All weapons and props must be in plain sight at all times and are subject to mandatory inspections performed by Cosmic Con staff or security staff.
Any weapon, prop, or item not covered in this policy must be inspected by security staff at entry.
Anything not outlined in this policy will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
By entering Colorado Cosmic Con, you agree to be photographed or videotaped by Cosmic Con volunteers and attending press.
Flash photography is prohibited for safety reasons.
Any photos and video taken by Colorado Cosmic Con staff become property of the convention and may be used for publicity and promotional purposes.
Photography of all other aspects of the event is allowed, if it does not disrupt events, or the flow of traffic and the subject does not object. Please be considerate and ask first before taking pictures of guests, con staff, other attendees or the general public.
Be considerate when taking photos of attendees and guests. Always ask permission to take a photo and do not take too much of the individual’s time by limiting the amount of photos you take.
OTHER GENERAL POLICIES
Colorado Cosmic Con is a non-smoking convention. Smoking is prohibited except where venue policy permits. This includes vaping of any kind.
Please be aware as an attendee of Cosmic Con that media representatives will be present at the event and may be filming at anytime.
Please remember talking during panels is disruptive to other attendees and save your comments for outside. Please also turn off the sounds on your cell phone and any other noisy devices.
Colorado Cosmic Con has the right to remove any individuals or props featuring political signage, clothing, and costumes.
ACCESSIBILITY POLICY
Colorado Cosmic Con prides itself on being an inclusive event, meant to be enjoyed by all participants.
The Norris Penrose Event Center's "Indoor Event Center" prides itself in being accessible and offers ADA compliant restrooms and entrances. Please review the event center's website and policies for more.
POLICIES NOTE
Colorado Cosmic Con has the right to amend, change, or add any policies at any time. For the most part, Cosmic Con's policies are inline with other public events, both comic conventions and events in Colorado Springs. Use common sense when attending and contact Colorado Cosmic Con if you have any questions on policies.
